Mosimanns’ Restaurant

Client: The Belfry Club, Chelsea
Year: 1982

Lees Associates were commissioned to undertake the total refurbishment and replanning of one of London’s most famous dining clubs located within a nonconformist chapel in Belgravia, once the home of the Duke of Westminster.

The scope of the practice’s involvement demonstrates our experience within the field of hospitality. Lees Associates negotiated with the licensing officer in raising the number of covers from 160 to 260, as project architect they were responsible for the design of the kitchen and preparation facilities including the project management of all construction and interior decoration.

The completed scheme comprises a 260 cover restaurant, four private dining rooms and new kitchens.

Lees Associates handled the complete scope of works from concept design to completion.
