This 500 year old house in the country was suffering from a few years of neglect when the new owner bought it. Like a lot of ancient buildings, over the centuries the farm house acquired additions, alterations and ‘modernisations’ not necessarily in the buildings best interests. We worked carefully to untangle and restore the historical fabric of the house to optimum condition whilst answering the clients brief for a comfortable contemporary family home compatible with their modern lifestyle.
