Lees Associates
Architecture and Design

Daisy Nisbet, Interior Design Assistant

BA (Hons)

Daisy joined Lees Associates in January 2008, from a colourful background of art, textiles and set design.

Her role is a varied and creative one that involves working closely with the Directors to develop design ideas for all elements of our projects, from decorative architectural elements such as mosaics, cornices and friezes, to custom designed lighting, furniture and soft furnishings.

Daisy is responsible for sourcing the finishes for many different projects, and putting together client presentations. Most recently she has been working alongside our Architectural Assistants putting together CGI animations for both new-build schemes and refurbishments of listed properties.

Daisy’s approach is fundamentally an artistic one, combining hand drawing with the use of CAD software to create evocative designs and perspective drawings for schemes. She has a passion for texture and pattern that inspires her work, and a curiosity for the unusual, which complements the bespoke nature of Lees Associates’ projects.

Outside of work Daisy enjoys visiting galleries, national heritage sites and generally getting out and about in the countryside. She likes to keep active by jogging and ice skates on a weekly basis. Daisy has an enthusiasm for DIY and to feed her enjoyment of handcrafts and creativity, she creates her own soft furnishings, furniture and accessories.
