Kathryn Archer, Director

Kathryn Archer joined the practice in 1989 and became a director in 1999. After completing her Architecture degrees at Newcastle University she worked on Stirling Prize winning Baggy House and recording studios for Goldcrest Films. At Lees Associates Kathryn has worked in the retail, commercial and hotel sectors including the completion of a 45 bedroom refurbishment project and the Front Hall renovation and refurbishment for the Savoy Hotel.
Kathryn has led high profile office fit out projects throughout the city such as 30 000 sqft relocation of the Gerrard Group, the 15 000 sqft relocation for Greig Middleton and a 14 000 sqft relocation for Sarah Lee Courtaulds.
She has retained Selfridges & Co as a client for a number of years working on diverse projects including the chic Lab Café restaurant and various designerwear label fit outs, the Retail Awards 2001 Finalist façade refurbishment, whole floor fit-outs of the new Manchester Central and Birmingham Stores. For Harrods she has recently refurbished their famous Brompton Road façade and been involved in the fit-out in the new Harrods 102 food hall.
Kathryn has worked on several high specification residential projects including the refurbishment of Harold MacMillan’s former country residence, 25000 sqft Birch Grove House Sussex and is currently leading the design team on the refurbishment and fit-out of a Grade I listed regency John Nash property on the edge of Regents Park.
